A Christmas to Remember Brings Hope to Hurricane Melissa Survivors in Parottee, Jamaica.

Parottee, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica — “A Christmas to Remember” truly lived up to its theme as The Pollyanna Project brought joy, comfort, and renewed hope to victims of Hurricane Melissa.

Despite the uncertainty left in the hurricane’s wake, both young children and the young at heart experienced a day filled with laughter, care, and celebration. Nestled in the fishing village of Parottee, St. Elizabeth, The Pollyanna Project converged on Parottee Primary School with one mission—to ensure that a community deeply impacted by the storm experienced the warmth and spirit of Christmas.

Through meaningful gifts, shared meals, and acts of love, the organization reminded families that they were not forgotten. The event stood as a powerful example of compassion in action and a testament to what is possible when communities come together to serve those in need.

The Pollyanna Project remains committed to its mission of restoring dignity, uplifting families, and Helping One Hand at a Time.
